Sanjay Gandhi Yojana Department
The Sanjay Gandhi Yojana Department at the District Collector’s Office, Akola, is responsible for supervising, guiding, and controlling all matters related to the Sanjay Gandhi Niradhar Yojana at the taluka level in the district. Under the Sanjay Gandhi Niradhar Yojana / Shravan Bal Yojana, which is a state-sponsored scheme, an average grant of Rs. 1500 is provided to the beneficiaries.

Under the Indira Gandhi Scheme, Rs. 300 is provided by the central government and Rs. 1200 by the state government, making a total benefit of Rs. 1500 for the beneficiaries.

Under the National Family Benefit Scheme, a one-time lump sum grant of Rs. 20,000 is given to the beneficiary.

The grant is directly transferred to the beneficiaries’ bank accounts through the DBT Portal (Direct Benefit Transfer).
