How is PMAY-G funded?
The central and state governments share the costs of housing benefits
The current ratio is 60:40, with the state contributing the remaining 40%

Eligible households are identified based on certain parameters, such as income, ownership of assets, and employment status
PMAY-G’s progress
As of February 2025, 3.34 crore houses have been sanctioned and 2.69 crore houses have been completed
The Union Cabinet has approved the proposal for constructing two crore additional houses during FY 2024-25 to 2028-29
